'Steam for Schools' is a free version of Steam for students, facilitates Portal 2-based lessons - Joystiq

I am fascinated by how video games are being used to educate. Valve, the company that runs Steam and created the game Portal, among others, has an educational version of its game platform that can be used to create 3D images and games and puzzles.  I have yet to check it out, but will soon.
