It’s probably a good time to buy Yahoo. If they invest in mail and their other key properties, they could outflank both Google and MSFT. Also, at $14 the stock is cheap. Even if she makes incremental improvements to product, it will result in new value through a possible acquisition.

Pinstagram And The Rise Of Mash-Up Apps

Pinstagram And The Rise Of Mash-Up Apps:
Pinstagram And The Rise Of Mash-Up Apps
Valve, the company that runs Steam and created the game Portal, among others, has an educational version of its game platform that can be used to create 3D images and games and puzzles. I have yet to check it out, but will soon.

This is the beginning of a trend that will transform engineering education. I think elementary school children should start learning about 3-D design. School libraries should acquire these printers for the purpose of teaching and learning engineering and product design.

Read about the companies that are leading the charge by making these printers and prototype machines affordable. http://pulse.me/s/8CAGL

Groupon is over-rated and over valued

Groupon is over-rated and over valued:
Good article from Fast Company that points out the obvious. As a consumer Groupon is great. As a business, it’s not so clear.

'Prince of Persia' creator Jordan Mechner on telling stories in 48 kilobytes or less (15 points)

'Prince of Persia' creator Jordan Mechner on telling stories in 48 kilobytes or less (15 points):
‘Prince of Persia’ creator Jordan Mechner on telling stories in 48 kilobytes or less (15 points)
